Welcome to Go Happy Cab. By using our special needs transportation services, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Service Description

Go Happy Cab provides specialized transportation services for children and adults requiring accommodations. Our services include scheduled pickups, drop-offs, and real-time communication with parents, guardians, and care facilities.

2. SMS Text Messaging Terms

By opting in to receive text messages from Go Happy Cab, you agree to receive automated transactional and service-related SMS notifications about transportation services.

 

Message Types

You will receive the following types of messages:
- Pickup confirmations - Driver name and estimated arrival time
- Driver arrival alerts - Real-time notification when driver arrives
- Safe drop-off notifications - Confirmation of successful drop-off
- Route delay updates - Traffic delays and revised ETAs
- Schedule changes - Changes to pickup/drop-off times
- Emergency alerts - Weather cancellations or urgent safety notifications
- Customer service responses - Replies to your inquiries
 

You will NOT receive marketing or promotional messages. All messages are transactional and directly related to your active transportation service.
 

Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your active transportation schedule. Typically, you may receive 2-4 messages per scheduled ride (pickup confirmation, arrival alert, drop-off confirmation, and occasional delay updates).
 

Opt-In Methods

In-Person/Phone Enrollment: During transportation service enrollment, our staff will verbally explain the SMS notification service and obtain your consent. You will provide your mobile number, and our staff will document your consent with the date, time, and phone number.
 

Website Enrollment: You may also opt-in via our website contact form at https://www.gohappycab.com/contact by checking the SMS consent checkbox.
 

Opt-Out

You can opt-out at any time by:
- Replying STOP to any message
- Calling us at 415-800-2273
- Emailing rides@gohappycab.com
 

After replying STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message. Your number will be removed from our SMS list immediately and placed on a permanent opt-out list. You will never be re-subscribed without your explicit new consent.

Message and data rates may apply. Consult your mobile carrier for details about your messaging plan.

This service is available on all major U.S. carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and regional carriers.

3. Service Terms

Scheduling

Transportation services must be scheduled in advance. We will confirm all scheduled rides via SMS notification.

Cancellation Policy

To cancel or reschedule a ride, please contact us at least 2 hours in advance at 415-800-2273.

Safety & Conduct

All drivers are professionally trained to work with special needs passengers. Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring accurate information about their child's needs is provided during enrollment.

Liability

Go Happy Cab maintains appropriate insurance coverage for all transportation services. We are committed to the safety and well-being of all passengers.

4. Privacy & Data Protection

Your personal information, including mobile number, is collected and used solely for providing transportation services. Your data is never sold, shared, or used for marketing purposes.

5. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent changes. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Providing your phone number and consenting to receive SMS messages is not required to use Go Happy Cab transportation services. However, SMS notifications are the primary method we use to keep you informed about your rides.
