We use SMS to keep you informed and provide details related to ride service including pickup times, driver information, delays, and safety updates. You will not receive marketing messages or anything else unrelated to our core services.

At Go Happy Cab, we respect your privacy and are committed to safeguarding your information. By opting into our SMS messaging service, you consent to the following terms:

  1. Data Collection: We will collect your name, email address, and mobile phone number when you sign up for SMS updates. This information will be gathered verbally over the phone whenever someone contacts our official line or in our physical location.

  2. Data Usage: Your data is used solely for the following purposes:

    • Responding to your text messages and inquiries

    • Scheduling, confirming, and reminding you about appointments

    • Providing transportation-related communications, including urgent service updates as necessary

    • Offering customer assistance and support

    • Appointment confirmations and essential communications as requested

  3. Types of Messages: You will receive the following types of SMS messages:
       * Driver arrival and pickup confirmations
       * Safe drop-off notifications
       * Route delay updates and revised ETAs
       * Schedule changes or cancellations
       * Emergency or safety-related alerts
       * Customer service responses to your inquiries
       You will NOT receive marketing or promotional messages. All messages 
       are directly related to your active transportation service.

  4. Message Frequency & Charges: Message frequency is minimal. We mainly use SMS for customer-initiated conversations and essential project communications. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier and plan. Message frequency may vary based on communication needs.

  5. Data Security: We protect your personal information with appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or use.

  6. Data Retention: We retain your information as long as you are subscribed to our SMS service. You may request deletion of your information at any time by contacting us directly.

  7. Opt-Out & Help: Opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP or CANCEL to any message, or by contacting us at 415-800-CARE (2273) or rides@gohappycab.com. After unsubscribing, you'll receive a final SMS confirming your opt-out. Your number will be removed from our SMS list immediately and will never be re-subscribed without your explicit new consent. We maintain a permanent opt-out list.
    For additional assistance, reply HELP at any time and you will receive a message with our contact information.

  9. Data Sharing:

    • Customer data, including mobile phone numbers and opt-in information, is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.

    • Any data-sharing restrictions outlined elsewhere in our general privacy policy do not apply to mobile opt-in data, which is never shared for any reason.

  10. Consent not a Condition of Purchase: Providing your phone number and consenting to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from Paumalu Innovations.
